Hello everyone! I’ve got lots to tell you about.

First, this Friday is our Dance but it’s also our Class Party Potluck. I’ll be teaching a new Line Dance called “A Little Tension”. Then of course I’ll be playing some great dance music from 8-11pm. Please bring something for our big potluck. We’ll supply all the utensils. We have lots of new students joining us this Friday night. Come enjoy the “new student energy” and meet some new people and bring some of your friends too.

Then on Sunday (4/8) we start our next series of dance classes AND the West Coast Swing Workshop and Dance. Here is a quick snippet of the classes. If you scroll down a bit you can find the details about our Sunday Funday WCS Workshop and Dance. There are only 2 left before we take a break for the summer. Don’t miss out.

Sunday Fundays now include a Dance Workshop (5-6pm) and Open Dancing Time (6-8pm) with music related to the Dance Workshop. There are two of these Fundays each month, one for West Coast Swing and one for Line Dancing.

SWING DANCING WORKSHOPS

5-6pm • Workshop $12/person

These workshops require knowledge of the 12 Basics of WCS. A focus on technique as well as learning new moves and patterns.

OPEN DANCING

6-8pm • $8/person or $15/2 people

Swing music for WCS, ECS a few Nightclub Two-steps and if requested a Country Two-step and Waltz. Bring a friend or get your friends to meet at the Barn for some fun dancing time.

LINE DANCING WORKSHOPS

5-6pm • Workshop $12/person

These workshops will be a new Line Dance at an Improver level or 1.5 level. We recommend knowledge of several beginner Line Dances.

OPEN DANCING

6-8pm • $8/person or $15/2 people

Variety of music for the Line Dances. Levels include 1, 2 & 3. Dave will do a quick walkthrough of each dance then play the music. Bring your line dance friends and enjoy a couple hours of line dancing.

Here are two Beginner Line Dances we do sometimes on Friday Night. You can watch the videos a few times and try to learn them or or join our classes to learn them. Then you can use these videos and many more to practice or review the ones you learned.
