Happy Independence Day! Wow, what a great turnout we had yesterday for the 4th of July Celebration. Thanks to all of you that joined us for evening. Lots of food for the picnic, the games were fun, the dancers were great and the weather was nice. The fireworks were even bigger than last year. There were some great new ones too. There were a couple of white ones that lit up the whole sky bigger than I’ve ever seen here before. Thanks to all of you for donating to the church’s “Appreciation Fund”. We raised a nice amount of money to donate to show our appreciation. I’ll put up a Blog Post with photos and videos.
This Friday is July 6th. I’ll be teaching a beginner line dance called “Rock & Roll Kiss”. I have a video you can watch to get a head start on the lesson if you like. I am walking you through the steps.
You don’t need to bring a partner for the lesson, singles and couples are welcome to join ALL our dance lessons, classes, workshops and events. The dancing starts at 8pm until 11pm. Join me for a fun night of dancing.
Intermediate Cowboy Cha-cha Series
If you want to add some extra turns and embellishments to your Cowboy Cha-cha pattern join us on Tuesdays at 8:30pm starting July 10th – August 14th. It’s a 6-week series for $78. If you register by July 3rd you get a $5 discount. You have to know the basic version of Cowboy Cha-cha to register. Don’t know it? Call and book a private lesson ASAP.

Maple Valley Farmer’s Market
Saturday, July 28th 2018 • 10:00 – 11:30am
Join Dave Serfling for a morning of Line Dancing. Dave will walk through each beginner Line Dance and play a couple songs to dance it to. Bring your family and friends to this fun outdoor Line Dancing event. It’s free.
The Maple Valley Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm at Rock Creek Elementary School:

Barn Dance Fund Raiser
Get ready to hoe down ‘til sundown! Sammamish Friends presents a good old fashioned barn dance.
- Join us on Saturday, July 28th from 7:00 to 10:30pm.
- Located at Wally Pereya’s newly-renovated historic barn on the parkway in Sammamish.
- Earlybird tickets are $75 per person.
- Tickets purchased after June 21st will be $90.
- Appetizers and drinks will be provided.
- There will be no ticket sales at the door.
