Join the Jitterbug Swing Class (aka Single Step Swing) for a fun introduction into this energetic style of Swing. Become confident dancing to fast tempo music like “In The Mood”. Gain a solid foundation in single-step 6-count Swing, by learning practical basics of partnering and footwork along with smooth moves. Music includes: Rock & Roll, Big Band and NEW Swing music.

History

Originating in the U.S., Jitterbug became popular in the 1930s and ’40s. U.S. armed forces during World War II helped spread jitterbug’s popularity all over the world.
